- Renters Insurance Coverage
Protect your belongings and protect the assets you've worked so hard for!
- Personal Property - Apartment and Townhome renters insurance provides coverage for your household contents and personal belongings. You may think your couch, coffee table, sweaters, shoes, coats, TV, VCR and CD player aren't worth a lot but those items all add up.
- Personal Liability - In the event someone is injured on your property or you damage property that belongs to others, you could be held legally liable for the injury or damage. The renters policy provides personal liability coverage to financially protect you should this ever occur.

With your Farmers Homeowners coverage, your house and separate structures on the premises (sheds, detached garages, etc.) are covered for almost any type of damage except for a few exclusions listed in your policy.
- Additional Living Expenses - If your home is damaged and becomes uninhabitable, you may need to temporarily live somewhere else while your home is being repaired. Your Farmers Homeowners policy will pay you for increases in living expenses (housing, food, etc.) you incur while your home is being repaired as a result of a covered loss.
- Personal Property - Your policy covers your on-premises personal property (household contents, personal belongings, etc), subject to the policy provisions. Your personal property is also protected anywhere in the world, for example, if your clothes are stolen while on vacation, you're covered. But there are special policy limits for your jewelry, watches, furs, silverware, firearms, computers and rugs or carpets made outside the U.S.
- Personal Liability & Medical Payments - Your Farmers Homeowners policy pays for bodily injury to other people, for which you are legally responsible, that result from unintentional acts by you or a qualified family member. The policy also provides coverage for damage to of others, again, if you are legally liable. With some exceptions this coverage applies anywhere in the world.
- Condominium/Townhouse Insurance Coverage
With your Farmers Homeowners coverage, any additional property you own can be protected from various issues that may arise in the future.
- Dwellings & Other Structures - For townhouse owners, your townhouse and separate structures are covered for almost any type of damages except for a few common exclusions, such as wear and tear, earth movement, flood, nuclear hazard and earthquake.

- Personal Property - Condominum insurance provides coverage for your household contents and personal belongings. You may think your couch, coffee table, sweaters, shoes, coats, TV, VCR and CD player aren't worth a lot but those items all add up.
- Loss Assessment - You'll receive up to $1,500 for assessments arising from covered damage. This can be used to pay for your share of property damage or injury awards for which your association's policy does not provide coverage. Typically, up to $50,000 is available, but this may vary depending on your policy.
- Personal Liability - In the event someone is injured on your property or you damage property that belongs to others, you could be held legally liable for the injury or damage. The condominium policy provides personal liability coverage to financially protect you should this ever occur.
- Personal Belongings Coverage
If the unexpected happens, losing your home contents could be distressing, financially devastating. Your Farmers Homeowners, Townhouse, Condo and Renters policies cover your personal belongings, subject to the policy limits and conditions.
- Replacement Cost Coverage - This coverage pays you the dollar amount needed to replace personal property without any deduction for depreciation, but is limited to a maximum dollar amount.
- Actual Cash Value - This coverage pays you an amount equal to the replacement value of damaged property minus depreciation. Unless a Homeowners policy specifies that property is covered for its replacement value, the coverage is for actual cash value.
Many people make the mistake of underestimating the value of their home contents. This mistake is easily made when you consider the amount of new items we purchase each year. Under-insurance can lead to heartache and inconvenience should the unexpected happen.
- Identity Fraud Expense Coverage
Identity theft is a growing problem in the United States. In 1992, credit-reporting agency TransUnion reported 35,000 calls with questions and complaints about identity theft. By 1998, the number had increased 15-fold to 554,450 (more than 1,500 calls per day). With the continuing development of information technologies, we are all at risk from this fast-growing crime.
Our Identity Fraud Expense Coverage has been developed to assist in the cost of repairing the credit errors caused by the identity fraud. The funds provided by this endorsement will afford limited expense reimbursement, which include but are not limited to the following types of expenses:
- Costs for notorizing fraud affidavits or similar documents

- Homeowner's Liability Coverage
Nothing is worse than the feeling you get when you are responsible for damage to someone else's property or for someone else's injuries. Our Agency can build a homeowners policy that protects you from this financial worry.
This coverage is part of your Homeowners Insurance policy. It protects you and your family against property damage or bodily injury claims for which you are legally responsible. Liability insurance covers you, for example, if someone slips and falls on your property or if your dog bites someone.
Today, when multimillion-dollar lawsuits are common, your homeowners policy may provide substantial liability limits, but it may not be enough. Farmers Personal Liability Umbrella supplements your present policies and provides additional coverage in increments of $1 million.
